A word of introduction

Skaivox is a one man project based in Maribor, Slovenia and its purpose is creation of electronic dance music. Main genres that it represents are techno, house, trance and progressive, but those are not the limits of the project, because the idea is a fusion of the best parts of electronic genres and to make them shake the dance floor.

The one behind Skaivox has been in touch with electronic music since late nineties when he was a teenager and somewhere in that time he decided it is time to turn some of his ideas into tracks. Starting with production in the first decade of this millennium, he was doing a bit of this and a bit of that, trying lot of styles and learning the basics of production techniques. Then years later the time was right to acquire some proper studio hardware and software which lead to the creation of the first EP Atrum Potentia that was released under project SkAAnK and is now available as free download on Last FM. After finishing degree in computer science, years 2009 and 2010 brought some changes and there was lot more time for music production and project Skaivox was born.

In the second half of 2010 two tracks have been signed to AK Recordings and were each released as part of digital compilation. They can be acquired in major digital stores like Beatport, Trackitdown, Juno Download, Amazon, etc. Soon afterward first remix requests came from owners of AK Recordings and Guilhotina records and in the beginning of year 2011 new songs were signed to Guilhotina record label.

Although number of tracks was released in year 2011, it was mainly a year of massive production for various labels already signed to or new ones. These tracks will hit digital stores in the beginning of the year 2012.
Currenty there are quite few tracks waiting to be released and can be heard on Soundcloud.
